Forum Rvb Mod Votes Cool Funny
UPDATE 28/12/2015: Over the terminal few months I've been burnt out on modding and WoT. Possibly I'll come back shortly, or maybe I'll post up the source files to let anyone who wants to use them do so. Either manner I'll take a look at what WG are doing with the sound engine and then I'll brand my decision. Thanks
Spoiler
Roadblocks:
-34/35 language limit = 34 voices limit. How to get around: Installer? New Sound Engine?
-New Sound Engine. What will happen?
-Fatigue. Easier way of curating samples and preparing them? Maybe some collaboration?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overview:
-Originally this Mod was meant to change the in-game crew voices for each nation while using the national vocalization setting.
-National voices tin can be changed to English language so that yous can understand them, with accents to correspond the nation of the tank y'all are driving!
-Now with IGL'southward great "Like shooting fish in a barrel Coiffure Voice Selector" it has too go much more! You lot can now select any of the coiffure vocalisation mods that I accept converted to work in the same mode every bit WoT's original voice files.
-Now instead of overwriting the original files to install a new vocalization mod, you can but copy the audio banking company(.fsb file) into the sound binder and you will be able to select information technology in the in-game sound menu!
-This also allows the voice mods to be used in the national mode, and then you tin can get your Brits to utilise one sound modern, and your Germans to utilise some other.
-The main_sound_modes.xml included is a modified version of the one from IGL'southward bang-up "Piece of cake Crew Vocalization Selector" mod, and is set upwards to work with the sound banks included in this mod. Information technology also has a number of national voice presets.
-All the original WoT languages(CN,DE,EN,ect) are unchanged, simply withal included just in case. This is NOT a replacer! Information technology works fine with the original voices, it merely adds more to choose from. You lot could install this and play without even knowing it was installed if you never changed it from "default"
-This mod does include varying levels of profanity, including the F-word. This depends on which phonation y'all are using withal.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
New Voices This Update:
- Red Warning iii Soviets
- Despicable Me Minions
- C&C Generals Chinese
- I take more voices ready, but WoT won't let me add together anymore for now
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upcoming Next Update:
Spoiler
- Find out a way effectually the 34 soundbank limit...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DEMO:
-I'thou currently looking for someone to provide a demo video for this mod, since I have no recording equipment. If you are interested Please let me know, Give thanks yous!
-Every bit I said above I don't currently have a preview to bear witness here. If you wan to check it out, yous should download and try it yourself
Information technology'south not a replacer, then you can switch dorsum to the default voice at any fourth dimension, in game! What have you got to lose?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Few Notes most the Sounds:
-If you set the crew voices dorsum to default this mod still includes the original WOT all English for all tank'south crew voices so it is easy to turn it off and on while even so in game!
-Although the individual vox modernistic selections will not appear without the appropriate voice banks, the national presets are always shown, so I wouldn't cull a preset that uses the vox banks that aren't installed. Who knows what would happen...
-Besides another small note is that since these games don't have the exact same concepts of WOT, some lines are not foolproof in their explanation of events. The CoH voices are close to the WoT originals, and others are usually similar.
Even all the lines should be able to be deciphered with a flake of logic I will endeavor to provide a general guide here, just in example:
CoH:
AmmoRack Dmg | Lines should take the word ammo in them, and have a negative or tone to them |
Critical Hitting | Extended Phrase, Joke, or extra compliment |
Crew wounded | Anything from simple "Man down!" to "The Loader'southward Hit!" |
Minor Module Dmg | "Taking Burn", "Oil Leak!", ect. |
Engine Fixed | Urgent Move Command ie. "Become!Become!Go!" |
Tracks Fixed | Relaxed Move Command ie. "Movement out" |
Gun Fixed | "Fire the Gun!" ect. |
TF2:
(Histrion's tank is referred to equally a cart, due to the TF2 characters' poor elementary minds)
AmmoRack Dmg | Damaged ammo rack is referred to equally a Bomb. |
Disquisitional Hit | Extended Phrase, Joke, or extra compliment |
Commander killed | Death Sounds (Character is the Commander) |
Coiffure wounded | "Medic!" ect. |
Enemy Tanks Burns | "Burn down in hell" ect. or evil laughing |
Minor Module Dmg | "Assist!", "OW!", ect. |
Engine Damaged | "Keep pushing the cart!" ect. |
Engine Cleaved | "The cart stopped!" ect. |
Engine Fixed | Urgent Movement Command ie. "Become!Go!GO!" |
Tracks Broken | "The cart stopped!" ect. or "AW BUGGER!" ect. |
Tracks Fixed | Relaxed Move Command ie. . "Let'south become" |
Gun Dmg/Broken | "OH NO!" with very extreme/long bad reaction. |
Gun Stock-still | "Look at my new gun!", "Burn the Gun!", Thank you Engineer! ect. |
Turret Dmg/Broken | "OH NO!" with very farthermost/long bad reaction. |
Turret Fixed | Thanks Engineer! ect. |
RA3:
AmmoRack Dmg | "OH NO!" with very extreme/long bad reaction. |
Critical Hit | Extended Phrase, Joke, or extra compliment |
Crew wounded | Death Sounds |
Enemy Tanks Burns | "Cook them downwards!" ect. or evil laughing |
Minor Module Dmg | "They're shooting back!", ect. |
Player on Burn | Crew burning sounds |
Engine Damaged | "Go on moving!", "Main engines!", ect. |
Engine Cleaved | "Our Engine!" ect. |
Engine Stock-still | Urgent Motility Command ie. "Become!Go!Go!" |
Tracks Fixed | Relaxed Move Command ie. . "Let's go" |
Gun Dmg/Broken | "OH NO!" with very extreme/long bad reaction, or "MAIN GUN!" |
Gun Stock-still | "Fire the Gun!" ect. |
Turret Dmg/Broken | "OH NO!" with very extreme/long bad reaction. |
Turret Fixed | "All systems good" ect. |
Anyway, most of that you lot should understand what'due south going on. Just thought I'd make sure I write it out for anyone who got confused.
- I'd also like to give thanks IGL for his "easy coiffure vocalism selector", which improved the functionality of this mod by a huge amount! His original mod tin can be found here on the Eu forums! Cheers over again IGL!
